Y O G A S U T R A

“Yogas chitta vritti nirodhah”

Yoga is stilling the fluctuation of the mind into silence.  In order for us to abide in our own nature, in our divine essence.  

Yoga is the ancient yet highly practical living science that helps us to get there.

yamas.

Imagine our lifetime as one big master class, then Yamas and Niyamas are like ground rules for all
spiritual aspirants, that is all of us, for we all are spiritual beings having human experiences here.

asana.

Then Asana is the delivery system for Prana, the vital energy, the life force.
So that our body, the vehicle stays revitalized and we are anchored in our axis mundi.

pranayama.

Through Pranayama we gain access to the deeper layers of our vehicle,
become aware of the expansive inner microcosmos and develop the witness stand.

pratyahara.

The seer awareness enables the sense withdraw, Pratyahara.

dharana.

This state primes our mind and body for deeper raja yoga practice of concentration, Dharana.

dhyana.

With practice, we enter into meditation, Dhyana.

samadhi.

Through divine grace, we are absorbed in Unity Consciousness in Samadhi.
